Tour of Disaster City

• We are organizing a tour so all our members can visit the Disaster City in College Station, TX​

• "The mock community features full-scale, collapsible structures designed to simulate various levels of disaster and wreckage which can be customized for the specific training needs of any group. Emergency responders from across the globe venture to Disaster City for search and rescue training and exercises" - TEEX.org

RadResponder Exercise with Dr. Marianno (our other faculty advisor!)

• We will simulate an emergency response, where students will have to take radiation measurements all over campus to determine the shape of the radiation plume and conclude where the nuclear disaster occurred and what its nature was (RDD? Power plant?) ​

Tutoring

• INMM members are encouraged to take advantage of this tutoring hour, every Wednesday from 5:15pm to 6:15pm in AIEN M301​

• Dr. Chirayath will also be teaching MCNP input files during this time for those who are interested

(Free!) Lunch Meetings

• Joint meeting with NSSPI

• Held every other week at AIEN M301 from 12:30pm to 1:30pm

• External speakers as well as students who are ready to defend their graduate work will present

Ongoing FRIENDLY Competition Against UNM INMM Chapter

• We will host fun events such as trivia night and compete against the INMM Student Chapter from the University of New Mexico​
